GearUpBooking (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent service based in Manchester, United Kingdom. We are not affiliated with the DVSA or HM Government. Contact: GearUpBooking@outlook.com.
When you request our service we collect: your name and title, email address, phone number, postal address and postcode, driving licence number, theory test pass number, and your test-centre and date/time preferences.
We use your details only to provide the service you asked for — searching for and booking an earlier driving-test slot on your behalf — to contact you about dates we find, and to take payment for the service. Our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interests in running the service. We never sell your data or use it for third-party marketing.
Only as needed to deliver the service — principally entering your details into the official DVSA booking system to secure your test. We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.
Your data is stored in a secured database with access restricted to authorised staff only. It is not publicly accessible.
We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal and accounting duties, then delete it.
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to or restrict our use of it. Email us and we’ll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
